Have some questions about Apple’s CarPlay Ultra? Top Gear shows off everything there is to know about it in an 18-minute-long video.

Top Gear Takes a Deep Dive into CarPlay Ultra on the Aston Martin DBX

CarPlay Ultra was a long time coming. Announced back in 2022, it was only a matter of time the first vehicles would start to show up with Apple’s in-case software.

Aston Martin is the first and currently the only company to have adopted CarPlay Ultra, and it simply looks phenomenal.

Of course, we do have a lot of questions about CarPlay Ultra. For example, does it use a wired connection or it works wirelessly? Both, actually.

If you have similar questions about CarPlay Ultra, then Top Gear has you covered in a detailed video:

The funny thing is, Apple doesn’t even make a car. Despite that, it made the best in-car software there is.

It looks clean, easy to use, and it’s familiar, especially if you’ve used CarPlay before.

I’m excited to see where this software lands next. Though a few car companies did commit to it, but they went silent after a while. Let’s just hope others don’t do the same.
