Apple has released RC versions of tvOS 18.5 and visionOS 2.5 for Apple TV and Vision Pro, respectively. Available for download today.
tvOS 18.5 and visionOS 2.5 RC Now Available for Download with Bug Fixes and Security Patches
Those testing out betas of tvOS 18.5 and visionOS 2.5 can finally download the RC version today.
The full and final version will be available for everyone in a week. This update is the final version but is available for developers and public beta testers only.
If you’re a developer or public beta tester, here’s what you have to do in order to download tvOS 18.5 RC:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Launch System.
- Now open Software Updates.
- Open Update Software.
visionOS 2.5 RC can be downloaded over the air like any other software update from Apple, as long as you have a previous beta installed.
- Launch the Settings app.
- Open General.
- Open Software Update.
- Download visionOS 2.5 RC from here.
At the time of writing, iOS 18.5 and macOS 15.5 RC updates are also available for download.
