Apple’s iPhone 19, or the 20th anniversary model, will have an all-screen design, according to a newly published report.
At Least One iPhone 19 Will Have an All-Screen Design with an Under-Display Camera and Face ID Sensors
Rumors surrounding the 20th anniversary iPhone are starting to pick up pace. We heard that it will be a significant redesign and will be very hard to manufacture at the same time.
A new report by The Information sheds some light on the upcoming 20th anniversary model and says that it will have an all-screen design.
The currently iPhones have the Dynamic Island or the notch. The 20th anniversary model will have none of that. The camera and Face ID sensors will be underneath the display.
Apple plans to release several iPhone 19 models to mark the 20th anniversary of its smartphone lineup, but this major redesign will be a part of just the Pro models, it seems.
It will be very interesting to see how far Apple will take the iPhone design to mark its 20th anniversary. For example, the iPhone X was a giant leap forward and one that changed the iPhone forever.
Will Apple be able to do that again with the 20th anniversary model?
I have a feeling that there’s way more to this report. Apple won’t just release an average slab of glass and call it revolutionary. Those days are long gone.
Chances are high this model is going to be a foldable, and it makes sense that it will be one, because after all, it is going to be ‘extraordinarily complex’ to manufacture.
What’s complex about an average smartphone these days? Nothing. Because this is one problem that was solved years ago.
