You have the option to change the color of the mouse pointer on your Mac. All it takes is a couple of clicks.

Truly Customize the Look of Your Mac by Changing the Color of the Mouse Pointer to However You Like

A day before, I showed you how to customize the size of the mouse pointer on your Mac. It’s a very useful feature, especially if you’re connected to a high-resolution display.

Today, I’m taking things a step further by showing you how to change the color of the mouse pointer. But that’s not the fun part; the setting allows you to change the pointer fill as well as the outline color.

This just doesn’t change the fill color only. It really lets you go overboard with customization.

Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1. Launch System Settings.

Step 2. Click on Accessibility on the left.

Step 3. Now click on Display on the right.

Step 4. You’ll see a bunch of options here. Scroll down a little and find the Pointer section.

Step 5. You’ll see two options here: ‘Pointer outline color’ and ‘Pointer fill color.’ Click on the color next to it and see what works for you best.

Step 6. If you want to revert all your changes to the default black and white, just click on the Reset Colors button underneath Pointer fill color.

Since macOS allows you to pick your favorite color using several different methods, including some basic presets, this means you can precisely dial in the exact color you want for your mouse pointer.

Want to take this a step further? Make sure you customize your macOS accent color as well. You can do this by going to System Settings > Appearance and then customizing the ‘Accent color’ from here.

If you want more customization, you will be surprised to learn that you can rearrange the position of items in the menu bar too. Check out the guide posted here for more details.

A lot of people think macOS can’t be customized at all. They’re very wrong. There are a ton of things you can do to make your Mac truly yours, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. I’ll be posting more tutorials like these in the days to come.
