If you’ve been testing out iOS 18.5 or iPadOS 18.5, then you will be pleased to learn that you can download and install beta 3 of the update right now.
Do keep in mind that this update is available for developers only, and the public beta update should be available soon.
If you are currently testing the developer beta, here’s what you have to do in order to download beta 3:
- Launch the Settings app.
- Tap on General.
- Tap on Software Update.
- When the update shows up, select Update Now.
The entire update may take a while to install, which is normal for beta updates. Once everything is complete, you can start using your iPhone and iPad normally.
iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 focus on getting rid of bugs and improving performance, which means you shouldn’t expect any new feature at all.
If you suddenly notice improved performance or battery life, it means Apple is busy at work in the background and definitely doing a fine job.
